We found 2 ticks on Rolie (the new dog you may have heard of) this evening. They appear to be Brown Dog Ticks (one was engorged, one not).
I sent them off to Ohio State's Dept of Entymology for free tick identification and disease testing.
Based on this fact sheet, I guess I'll be spraying my house soon. . .
