Well, on the positive side, the wife and I both got raises this week. Her for her master's degree, I for becoming a ,,Journeyman".
On the negative side (sadly, it is longer), my hands still hurt like hell, the conductivity test confirmed nerve damage, and I'll have to start physical therapy next week.
And does anybody remember how last year that Charter school at which my wife USED to work neglected to pay their insurance bill for 5 months before notifying us? Well, many more bills recently surfaced that had been "retroactively" denied by the insurance, and the school says that today is the last day they will accept claims----so if any more surface, say, next week, they expect us to pay them----- but it gets better. One bill we submitted last month was sent to us again on Tuesday showing a transaction history that included a BOUNCED CHECK (the [attempted] payment of the bill by the charter school). So the doctor still wants his $375 dollars from us.
I called the State Dept of Education and contacted somebody who is high up in the organization that sponsors (i.e., "allows the charter school to exist") the Alliance Academy and she says she is taking care of it...I sure hope she really does. I'm not in the mood to pay for court filing fees.
