Newest Schutze

Introducing. . . Mädel!

(rhymes with cradle, ladle, dreidel)

She is the second to last doggy that was seized in the 100 dog (+20 cat) neglect case in Perrysburg this past winter. She was so malnourished that she has only just started to grow back her hair. Officially we are just fostering until they are done with additional check-ups and medications, but the long-term plan is adoption.

Doggie!

It's awesome that you're doing this, even if you just end up being a foster home for a brief period.

update/additional info:
When we got her on Sunday, she refused to come into the car, the house, or to go up the stairs, and had to be carried. As of yesterday evening, she is already running up to her bed upstairs at bed time (admittedly, right behind Rolie, who is now her obvious big brother). They are quite the dynamic duo.
