I think a pet's name hinges upon the personality quite a bit. So, here's an entymology site with B names: http://www.behindthename.com/nm/b.phpWith that being said, I kind of like the sound of "Bouffer and Beeker." Plus, it has a great Muppets association. :)
Hmm, that should be "etymology", since "entymology" isn't an actual word. Looks like I was typing so fast I combined it with "entomology". The perils of being addicted to spellcheck...
Or you were hungry for some Entenmann's coffee cake. That's what I always think of when I misspell eNtymolog [sic].For dog names, I like Beeker too, although I'd probably spell it Beaker like the chemistry equipment/Muppet character.
Gah, even with my intentional misspelling and sic, I typo'd it.
